WBCAP Merit List 2024 Link: Students who have recently passed their class 12th exams and wish to enroll in colleges in West Bengal can now register on the WBCAP portal. The Department of Higher Education of West Bengal has opened registrations for their Centralised Admission Portal for UG courses. Admissions for all UG courses, such as BCom, BA, and BSc will be conducted through the WBCAP portal. The West Bengal Higher Education Department will publish the WBCAP Merit List 2024 and 1st Seat allotment on 12 July 2024 at wbcap.in.

On June 19, 2024, Mamata Banerjee and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, announced the launch of the Centralised Admission Portal for the 2024-25 academic session. Through the WBCAP Portal (www.wbcap.in), students can access 16 universities and 461 government colleges, including government-aided colleges and higher education institutes. The WBCAP portal allows students to apply for various undergraduate programs, including 4-year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com Honours with research, 3-year multidisciplinary programs, B.C.A, BBA, B.ML.T, and BVoc courses.

WBCAP Merit List 2024 Details

Students who have passed or are appearing for their 12th class exams are eligible to apply. All eligible candidates must register on WBCAP for admissions this year. They must fill out the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee on the official portal. Registrations for WBCAP admissions 2024 start on June 24, 2024, and the last date to apply is July 7, 2024. Admissions will be based on merit. 

WBCAP Admission Allotment List 2024

The West Bengal Council of Higher Education (WBCHSE) has commenced registration for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25. Eligible candidates can apply for WB UG admission 2024 through the newly launched centralized admission portal, wbcap.in.

Any candidate who has passed their Class 12 or equivalent examination can submit their application on this online portal. The WBCHSE results for 2024 were announced on May 8, 2024. Students who have successfully cleared their Class 12 or equivalent exams are eligible to apply for WB UG Admission 2024 through the online centralized portal. Eligible candidates can apply for up to 25 undergraduate courses. The system will generate a merit list for admissions, ensuring a fair and efficient selection process.

Students can check the merit list on the college’s website and the Wbcap Portal. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you check the merit list:

• Visit the Official Website: Go to the official WBCAP website at wbcap.in.
• Log in to Your Account: Use your registered username and password to log in to your account on the portal.
• Navigate to the Merit List Section: Once logged in, find the ‘Merit List’ section on the dashboard or homepage.
• Select the Relevant Merit List: Click on the link for the specific merit list you want to view, such as the first merit list, second merit list, etc.
• View or Download: The merit list will be displayed on the screen. You can view or download the merit list for future reference.
• Check Your Details: Carefully check your details in the merit list, including your rank, name, and the allotted college or university.
• Follow Further Instructions: If your name appears on the merit list, follow the instructions provided on the portal regarding the admission process, document verification, and fee payment.
